However, at the same time it is ridiculous and hypocritical that Cser-Palkovics talks about how important environmental protection is to him and works to make Székesfehérvár a green city. The mayor may have forgotten – but the people of Szekesfehervar still smell – that over 150,000 tons of sewage sludge from South-Europe, believed to be hazardous waste, which flooded the city of Kings, Székesfehérvár, a place that has no doubt seen more glorious days than these.
A mayor who silently stands by and watches seemingly hazardous, stinking waste being stored just a few hundred meters from living estates and a shopping mall in his city has failed, both politically and in the human sense.
Székesfehérvár needs fresh air, therefore we shall continue to work to clean up the filth of yet another scandalous Fidesz deal.
